Analysis tools and advertising

Use of Google Ads

We use Google Ads, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), to place advertising for our offers in Google search results and on third-party websites. As part of Google Ads, we use, among other things, so-called conversion tracking, which allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements.

If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is stored on your device. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is used solely for statistical analysis. With the help of the cookie, we and Google can recognise that you clicked on an ad and were redirected to our website. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie, so tracking across the websites of other customers is not possible.

Legal basis for use

Your data is processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you have given via our cookie banner.

Data transfer and storage

The data collected by the conversion cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, Google undertakes to comply with the data protection standards applicable in the EU by concluding corresponding standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

Further information on the use of data by Google in connection with Google Ads can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privac

Revocation of consent

You can revoke your consent to the use of Google Ads and conversion tracking at any time by adjusting the corresponding settings in our cookie banner or by deleting the cookies in your browser. Alternatively, you can deactivate personalised advertising directly with Google. Further information can be found here: adssettings.google.com

Privacy policy for Google Tag Manager – Use of Google Tag Manager

Our website uses Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags via an interface. Tags are small code elements that are used, among other things, to analyse traffic and visitor behaviour on our website, to measure the impact of online advertising and social channels, to set up remarketing and targeting and to optimise our website.

Google Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) does not collect any personal data. It merely triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at domain or cookie level (e.g. via the consent banner), it remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Further information about Google Tag Manager can be found at: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/

Legal basis for use

Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, provided you have agreed to this via the cookie banner.

If no consent is obtained, processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising our website and improving our online offering.

Data transfer

It cannot be ruled out that Google transfers data to the USA. Please note that an adequate level of data protection may not be guaranteed in the USA. We have concluded corresponding standard contractual clauses with Google to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transferred to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services related to website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to data collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website. More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Data processing on behalf

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient for this. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

On our website, we use the online appointment booking service Calendly provided by Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA (“Calendly”).

Legal basis for use

The Calendly widget is embedded and used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can give via our consent management. Without your consent, the Calendly widget will not be loaded.

If you arrange an appointment with us via Calendly, the personal data required for this is additionally processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as the appointment serves to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfil a contract.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings. The revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation.

Data transfer

When using Calendly, personal data may be transferred to servers in the USA.

As things currently stand, Calendly is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The data transfer is therefore based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR.
